On Monday, March 19th, 2018, I experienced one of the best moments of my life.
It was Avaleigh’s first tee ball practice and my first time coaching baseball since 2009. If you say I was in Heaven, I would say that is an understatement. Baseball (coaching and playing) has been an instrumental part of my life. I have spent so much time between those old, white lines that the field has almost become a part of my soul. Experiencing the first time Avaleigh played baseball added more of this game to my being.

I took some pictures of Avaleigh and I before practice started. I will, no doubt, cherish them for the rest of my life.
It is a funny picture, but that is just us. Practice went so good. There was one time, though, that I had everyone sit in the floor and we were all telling our names. I looked up and, in the middle of it all, was Lindley. The best thing is that someone took a picture of it.
As you get older, I hope you stay with the game. There are so many lessons that it can teach you. I was going to include it in this post, but I think I will save it for later. The thing I want for you to take from this post is how happy sharing this moment was for me.
I love yall.
