You Make Me (Wanna Be) Better

Girls,

It has been a while since I wrote on your blog.  I have started doing daily devotionals that you will be given one day.  However, I still want to write you letters…so I will keep this going.

Since I become your father, I have been pretty clear on the fact that my job is to mold you into what you need to become…like hard working, respectable, classy young women.  I try to follow a mysterious job description that constantly evolves.  It is such a moving target.  The challenge is difficult, but the reward is great.

What I was less clear on was that God is using you to make me a better man.  I’ve learned patience, sacrifice, being accountable with my time, overcoming coming adversity, and the true definition of love.

You….both of you….have made me better.

I love you, so….

You fill my heart with joy.  You have shown me a part of my heart that I didn’t know I even had.

I will love you forever….

Dad
