Dear Avaleigh,
Right before the pandemic started in early 2020, you told me that you wanted to be baptized and you wanted to follow Jesus. It was a special day for us. We talked about what meant, we prayed, and you told Jesus that you wanted to live for him. Typically, baptism follows. However, the pandemic hit and we stopped going to church. We didn’t go from March…probably until after we got over COVID in December.
Upon our return, you told me that you wanted to be baptized. Understand, this wasn’t something that we told you that you needed to do or should do. This was you…in your heart…wanting to follow Christ. It is who you are.
So, January 3rd you went to talk to our pastor, Zac Davis. He is such a great guy. After your conversation, we both agree that you were ready and knew what was taking place.
January 10th, 2021, was an amazing day. Avaleigh, you literally glowed. You can see it in the picture. You were so pure. So excited.
Knowing that one of my daughters were going to walk with Jesus for eternity helped give me assurance. Now, we pray for Lindley’s time to be called.
Dear, I hope blessing will follow wherever your little feet are led. I love.
Daddy
