Your turn….

When it is your time to lead…

You lead.

I remind myself of the sometimes when things get hard and it seems to be hard more day than not.

No matter how I feel, no matter what I go through, this is my time to lead. I have to lead my family. I have to lead my church. I have to lead my school. I have to lead my community.

When it gets tough, you better get to looking in the mirror and having some conversations with yourself. It doesn’t matter what is going on in your mind, you better be there when they need you.

What do they need right now? Whatever it is they need, you better figure it out and be there for them. When you see someone who doesn’t have it, you better be there for them.

Some people will say lead, follow, or get out of the way. That’s a bunch of crap. LEAD. You will always be a leader…someone is always watching. The question isn’t are you a leader, but rather how are you leading? Are you leading the right way or the wrong way? Everyone wants to lead…until it gets hard.

It doesn’t matter how hard it gets. No one cares about how hard it is. When it is your turn to lead, you better lead.

Otherwise….what do they need you for?

Your turn is coming…start getting ready.
